Great Southern Managed Health Network Bringing health professionals together

MMEx is an e-Health platform that provides secure communication and collaboration between health professionals. Providing full clinical and patient management, MMEx delivers increased efficiencies and levels of service whilst lowering costs of patient care. Developed by the Universtiy of Western Australia's Centre for Software Practice and hosted on a network funded by the Department of Health and Ageing and established together with the Great Southern GP Network, MMEx is now providing clinical functionality throughout WA and the rest of Australia.

UWA CSP has entered a new phase of development of MMEx through a partnership with the Department of Health WA to utilise MMEx in the WA Country Health Services and other areas of health. The UWA CSP is also working with the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council, GP Networks in WA and with HealthLink to extend the use of MMEx in primary and acute health care.
